EMERGENCY INTERVENTION (NON-VIOLENT)
A 1 Hour lunch and several 10 minute breaks will be observed through out the day.
All 35 HOURS (4 days) of training MUST be completed to receive a certificate. To make up a missed day (OR PORTIONS OF) you will have to wait for the next course offering.

Training Description
The Administrator Certification course is a legislatively mandated program designed and intended to upgrade the knowledge and education levels of persons wishing to become administrators of Adult Residential Facility through a certification process. The training programs developed have been incorporated to meet the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Requirements, for administrators. Per Title 22, Division 6, Chapter 6, Section 80064.2
The Initial training program is a 35-hour instruction program required to be completed by persons who wish to become certified facility administrators for the first time.

*Conditional Administrator Certificate holders have two (2) years from the effective date of their certificate to complete the 40 hours of required continuing education necessary for administrator recertification. Please note, after passing the exam, effective dates will remain the same as your Conditional Administrator Certificate. It is important to understand that the two-year cycle for obtaining 40 hours of continuing education units started when the Conditional Administrator Certificate became effective.

To Apply for your Administrator Certification from CCLD:
Certificate of completion after you take our class: Certificate issued, via email, after the last day of class once you have completed all 5 days.
Course Materials
Title 22 Regulations, Practice Questions, and Course handouts are emailed 4/5 days before class. We do not ship out or print any materials. You are responsible for printing out Title 22 and Practice Question prior to class. Due to the volume of the regulations & course handouts we recommend that you do not print, rather use digital copies on your computer.
Title 22
The course focus is on learning Title 22 Regulations for the purpose of passing the state exam and operating an Group Home Facility. This course does not cover Title 17 or Regional Center Material.
