It will focus on identifying signs and symptoms that may help identify illness and injury for early treatment and the prevention of more serious conditions. Prevention is the Number One Priority. \nCourse Objectives: \n\nIdentify changes that may be signs and symptoms of illness or injury.\nIdentify the appropriate level of response based on an individual’s signs and symptoms.\nMake a 911 call and provide necessary information.\nFollow the guidelines for reporting and documenting changes that may be signs and symptoms of illness or injury.\nTake an individual’s vital signs including pulse and temperature.\nDescribe how to provide first aid for an individual having a seizure.\nIdentify ways to prevent health problems for individuals at risk.\nDescribe health problems associated with aging.
